Elections , the process by which we, as a nation uphold the most distinct feature of India, the democracy. One of the most powerful, yet the most neglected , right that is offerred to an Indian national would be the Universal Adult Franchise . The right to cast a vote and decide the 'leaders' who could take India forward!
In a change , that should bring about cheers to the 'youth' , a group of five have jumped into mainstream politics. Armed with degrees from renowned universities, these folks have decided to make a difference by joining the political bandwagon. The party is named, Paritrana.
Its indeed a commendable gesture. But, that leaves us with many questions. My conversation with a few of them in this topic bought about a different set of view points.
#1 .
"Ah .. good ! But does it mean that if a few people are 'educated' they would not resort to the trend already set"
#2.
" Can they connect to the masses?"
#3.
"Their USP , will work in India you think? I mean , they have their credentials but can they have that influence on the masses"
#4.
" U think, they will manage to win elections"
A mixed bag of reactions! The way many of them see it , is as an infinitesimal change! This view should change and hopefully this 'infintesimal' change should pave way as a catalyst!! Kudos, to those who have taken the first step!

er... atleast they would not give 'promises' as the one you'd blogged about few days back about a 'leader(huh!)' in bihar...
//hopefully this 'infintesimal' change should pave way as a catalyst!!
